Officers met with a 23-year-old woman who claimed she had been involved in an incident with an ex-boyfriend earlier in the evening, but refused to cooperate with police and no evidence of a crime scene was found.

The police report stated that the woman was concerned about the well-being of Manziel, which launched an effort to locate him that involved the police’s helicopter unit.
A representative from the police department said Manziel was not arrested, and police was working to gather more information. She was uncooperative with officers and raised concerns about her ex-boyfriend’s well-being.
Authorities determined after a preliminary investigation that “a possible assault had occurred” in Dallas or elsewhere outside of Fort Worth.
