Six people were found stabbed to death with their hands bound behind their backs inside a home on Chicago’s South Side Thursday afternoon.

A man called police, asking for a well-being check, and the residents of the home were found dead.

Officers discovered the bodies Thursday, and police said the case was being treated as an apparent multiple homicide.

A relative said that the six dead are a family who live in the home. Chicago police investigators prepare to enter a home where the bodies were found after police performed a well being check Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, in Chicago. The crime occurs just days after police admitted that Chicago crime has dramatically risen since previous year.

The young woman believes a co-worker stole a video of her fondling herself.

“[She was] a good person, very happy”, she said in Spanish.

On Wednesday, Williams said she noticed that a van belonging to her neighbor was on the street.

Escalante said there was no indication that anyone inside committed suicide but said police had not ruled out anything.

“I didn’t get an answer”, Williams said. “They always had their curtains open – you could see directly into the house from the front and on the side”. One of the victims was her friend, the police confirmed to her. “This is going to take some time because we want to be thorough and careful to collect as much evidence as we can”, Escalante said.
