Police issue Pokemon Go advice
The reported disruption adds to a flurry of headaches Nintendo is facing with Pokemon Go. The Pokemon franchise celebrated its twentieth anniversary this year, and people who grew up playing the games and watching the cartoon series in the mid-to-late 1990s are now at an age where they are feeling nostalgic for their childhood.

By now, you’re surely aware of Pokemon Go, the “augmented reality” mobile game that allows players to catch Pokemon in the real world and then train them to do battle.
Proofpoint researchers discovered a malicious Android version of the application, carrying the DroidJack trojan, on third-party file sharing sites that was uploaded on July 7, less than 72 hours after the game was officially released in New Zealand and Australia, according to a July 7 blog post. “Put your phone down while behind the wheel”, says Ragina Cooper Averella, public and government affairs manager for AAA Mid-Atlantic.
As you walk around, your avatar moves along the map in the app on your phone. If this happens, you can throw another Pokeball to try and recapture it.
– Increase a Pokemon’s power using stardust and creature-specific candy found in the game.
There have been reports around the country of people being robbed or injured while playing.
In the second interview, Hanke said that trading would be a way to encourage communication and engage between Pokémon Go players. He said, “There are multiple warnings in the game and they’re there for a reason”. If approached by security or police, Moshkovits said always explain what you’re doing and cooperate. Through an in-game item called a “Lure Module”, Pokemon is attracted to a PokeStop for 30 minutes, visible to everyone nearby. Among them is the promise that players will no longer have to repeatedly log in with their username and password after the app forcibly logs them out.
Although Google has since assured users that it does not use any information other than basic profile information, the access could potentially compromise users’ privacy and security, leaving it open to both Nintendo and the app’s developers.
How does it work?
You will find Pokemon by physically walking around your area.
– Progress to the next level by visiting PokeStops and capturing Pokemon.
Sadly, there isn’t really anything you can do about this, other than pick up an external battery charger, or make sure you keep your phone on your charger until you get ready to leave the house.
