One daughter died and the second one was critically injured during the shooting Friday night in the Houston suburb of Westheimer Lakes-North.

An investigation is underway after three women were involved a shooting Friday evening in Katy, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities have confirmed that a family squabble has led to the death of two women and another is fighting for her life.

An officer out of nearby Fulshear arrived to find one of the daughters dead. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution. “They are hard-working”, the neighbor said.
“I heard fireworks, I thought, but my dad told me there were some people shooting out here earlier”, said Austin Enke, a neighbor who said he went to high school with one of the victims. “The neighborhood’s never seen this kind of thing before”. It’s always quiet. This is surprising. And deputies had been called to the home in the past, though it’s unclear why.

On September 2015, Sheats posted a photo of her two daughters on Facebook, writing: ‘Happy Daughter’s Day to my two awesome, sweet, kind, beautiful, intelligent girls. “I do not know how this happened, so I can not believe that”. God rest her soul and those mourning her loss’. Please pray for her father’. The husband and father, who was not injured, was taken away by paramedics.
