Lincoln Police say a 20-year-old woman went to a local hospital on November 15 and told authorities she had been raped while at the Husker players’ home.

A woman told police she was forced to have intercourse at the home shared by quarterback Tommy Armstrong and receiver Jordan Westerkamp.

Armstrong has said he returned to his house around 12:30 a.m. that Sunday.

Police investigating an alleged rape at a house where two University of Nebraska (UN) football players live could not find evidence sufficient to support criminal charges.

Armstrong leads the Big Ten in total offense and Westerkamp is among the leaders in the conference in receiving with 61 catches for 833 yards and seven touchdowns this season. A university statement released Wednesday indicated the student-athletes would not be punished.

Armstrong told the Omaha World-Herald last week that he was told the sex was “consensual”.

Coach Mike Riley said Monday that his team was preparing normally to face third-ranked Iowa on Friday despite the investigations.
