Police probe after 6 Westchester inmates hospitalized

Multiple inmates reportedly overdosed on drugs at the Westchester County jail on Sunday, bringing emergency medical personnel to the facility.

Westchester County Police say Sunday officers were called to the county jail in Valhalla around 3 p.m.

Detectives are investigating what caused the six inmates to become unresponsive in their cell block and drugs is among the possible causes, Flynn said.

As of Sunday night, the inmates were listed in stable condition.
