Police release names of man, woman found shot in SUV in park
Investigators said both had been shot multiple times in the head and were found in the rear seats of the SUV.

Arline was naked and Smith was only partially clothed, NBC Philadelphia reported.
“So obviously that’s where our investigation is going to start, because somebody knew that they were in the park at that time and obviously had an issue with that”, he said.
Philadelphia police say the man and woman found dead inside an SUV in Fairmount Park were in a relationship, while also maintaining other romantic relationships.
Investigators were trailing through the couple’s mobile phone records on Monday and running fingerprints found on the car’s door, a law enforcement source added.
But both were also in relationships with other people.
The couple, identified as 25-year-old Shakoor Arline and 32-year-old Lisa Smith, were found shot to death Friday inside a white Toyota Sequoia.
“I can tell you from the crime scene it appears to be very much a crime of passion”, said Philadelphia Police Captain James Clark.
Police say Arline and Smith had been romantically involved on-and-off for years and had met at a previous job.
A man and a woman in the thick of a lovers tryst Friday were repeatedly shot in the head at a Philly park by an assailant who had an “obvious” beef with their relationship, authorities said.

Eric Thomason, a close family friend, said he had called Arline that afternoon over and over, to no avail. “It hasn’t hit me yet”. The two had dated on and off for a few time, he said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334/3335.
