What exactly Jones overdosed on isn’t yet known, but if it was anything that falls on the league’s list of banned substances, fines, suspensions, and other repercussions are definitely forthcoming for the Patriots defensive lineman.

Before his departure with the police to Norwood Hospital, Jones told the police he had left his keys at his house.

“It was evident that the individual was looking for help and assistance, ” one report prepared for Police Chief Edward T. O’Leary wrote.

At his home, officers detected the smell of burnt marijuana. “I could just Xerox you a copy of the game plan, you could send that over to Kansas City”.

Jones declined to answer further questions about the incident, telling reporters he’s focused on the team’s AFC Divisional round game against the Chiefs.

Jones politely responded to specific questions about his mental and emotional health with a similar response: “I understand the question”.

The Patriots were not required to issue an injury report on Tuesday, so they didn’t have to disclose why a player missed practice.

“It was like this man was trying to surrender (he was literally “as stiff as a board”/he was both upright and rigid)”, the officer wrote. The rescue said they were taking Jones “ALS”, which stands for advanced life support. Then, word began to leak out (and is now pouring out) that defensive end Chandler Jones showed up to a police station all kinds of messed up before ending up in the emergency room on Sunday, according to the Boston Herald.

Jones said he wouldn’t get into any details while apologizing for whatever did go on a few days ago. Previous reports were that the Patriot overdoesd on pills at Gonk’s home but now it has been reported that synthetic marijuana was what made Chandler Jones so ill.

According to an ESPN report, Gronkowski visited a Boston hospital on Thursday and received an injection in the injured knee. “Like I said, I made a stupid mistake, and hopefully it can just blow by”.
