Police say Sinead O’Connor found safe, no details released
Wilmette police released a statement Monday saying O’Connor reportedly left the area for a bicycle ride at 6 a.m. Sunday and hasn’t returned. You never asked yourselves whether your abuse would cost my two young sons their mother.

Police in Wilmette, Illinois had voiced concern for the safety of O’Connor, who has anxious many fans with recent Facebook postings that sounded suicidal. Last year, O’Connor posted a message on her Facebook page that suggested that she was taking her life and came after several social media posts about personal troubles. “A caller has expressed concern for her well-being and no other information is available”, Robinson said at the time.
“She was found safe and is no longer listed as missing or in danger”, the spokesperson said.
Sinead was last seen on a Raleigh motorised bicycle with a pink basket, wearing a black parka, black leather trousers and a sweatshirt with “Ireland” written on it.
Sinead O’connor has been located after apparently going missing over the weekend. The gifted but troubled singer-songwriter is known as much for her fierce and expressive voice as her shaved head and blunt criticism of the Catholic Church and other institutions. You unchristian, ungrateful, lying, criminal.
Taking to Facebook, she revealed she woke up in a hospital and labelled her family “hypocrites” for coming to visit her and leaving before she woke. “I’ve taken an overdose”.
She also referenced a hysterectomy she had undergone and said she got depressed after the operation “because I got left all alone to recover”.
Sinead made headlines again following Prince’s death last month (21Apr16) when she accused comedian Arsenio Hall of providing the pop superstar with the prescription drugs that allegedly led to his demise.
