Police say TSA agent molested college student traveling through LaGuardia in

A college student alleges she was molested by a security officer at LaGuardia Airport after she landed there earlier this week, sources close to the investigation told PIX11 News.

The 22-year-old victim, who is Korean, had gotten off the plane from Salt Lake City around 8 p.m. Tuesday when the agent approached her on the third floor of Terminal B.

The Transportation Security Administration agent contended that he needed to search the woman, then brought her to a bathroom, where he molested her, a source said.

According to a Port Authority spokesman, police arrested 40-year-old Maxie Oquendo of Manhattan on Thursday night.

“Upon review of closed circuit TV footage, TSA determined that the supervised officer followed standard operating procedures in the screening of this individual”, England continued.
