Police Search Gene Simmons’ Home, Family Not Suspects

Gossip Cop stresses that neither Simmons nor any of his family members are considered suspects.

Lt. John Jenal says the warrant was served Thursday at the Simmons home in Benedict Canyon near Beverly Hills.

The Los Angeles Police Department said the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force searched the home and explained that the Simmons family was extremely cooperative.

Police would give no further comment on the investigation. Authorities requested Simmons and his family not to discuss the case to avoid undermining the investigation, the affiliate said.

Gene Simmons’ house was raided Thursday morning by cops looking for evidence of child porn, although we’re told neither Gene nor anyone in his family is a suspect.

He also starred in a reality television show on A&E, “Gene Simmons Family Jewels”, which documented life with his wife and children.

“Members of the Los Angeles Police Department visited Mr. And Mrs. Simmons at their home to discuss a crime that may have occurred on their property past year while Mr. Simmons was away on tour with KISS”, the statement said.
