Police search Maribyrnong River banks for missing woman Karen Ristevski
Karen Ristevski has been missing since June 29.

Missing Melbourne mum Karen Ristevski has left behind a “nightmare” for her emotional family who haven’t seen her in two weeks.
The 47-year-old hasn’t been seen since she left her Oakley Drive home around 10am on Wednesday, June 29.
Australian television star Samuel Johnson has begged for his close friend Karen Ristevski to return home, although police believe the missing woman may now be dead.
Police are expected to widen their search on Friday.
Her husband – the last person to see her before she disappeared – refused to answer a question about whether he killed his wife.
It has been reported she went for a walk to “clear her head” after the argument. Photo: 7 NewsConcerns grew after Karen Ristevski didn’t show up to work at her store, Bella Bleu boutique in Taylors Lakes.
Neighbours claim they never saw Ms Ristevski leave her home at that time.
Karen Ristevski’s disappearance has been described by police as “highly irregular” and they now have grave concerns for her safety, news.com.au reported.
Karen said she was going to get some fresh air but no-one has heard from her since.
She hasn’t used her bank card since and her mobile phone has been switched off.
Mr Ristevski made no comment and walked away hugging his daughter.
Mr Johnson said Mrs Ristevski was a “community champion” who is “universally loved”.
A police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: ‘As part of the investigation, Karen’s house and the surrounding area has been searched’.
Her husband Borce Ristevski, who was questioned and released without charge, is believed to have told police he had an argument with her over financial issues.
Police released these items, which are similar to her belongings, in the hope that someone may have information on her current whereabouts.
She was last seen wearing a black jacket and jeans and is known to frequent Taylors Lakes.
Karen Ristevski is as 160cm tall, slim build, and has shoulder-length brown hair.
