Police seeking public’s help to find Burlungton City shooter
Published reports say Burlington City police, assisted by neighboring departments, have set up a perimeter in their search for the gunman.

Police were dispatched Saturday around 7 p.m.to the 100 block of East Federal Street for a shooting. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he was pronounced dead at about 10 p.m., police Capt. John Fine said in a statement.
A five-year-old girl who was in the area of the shooting was injured while running from the gunfire, but was not shot. She was treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries. He remains on the loose. His last known address was in Burlington Township, but he’s also been known to stay in Burlington City and Camden. He is described as black, around 6 feet tall and about 140 pounds.
Police are searching for the suspect and the police helicopter is assisting in the search.
James is a fugitive and investigators are asking the public’s help in determining his location.
Burlington City Police previously announced increased patrols in the city’s New Yorkshire neighborhood in response to the shootings.
