When Hahn was driving home, she realized that the officer was following her before he pulled her over on an alleged seatbelt violation, according to the complaint.

The footage shows officers arriving on the scene with Ms Hahn already on the floor. One of them punches Hahn in the face and tells her to stop resisting.

I could have helped you, ‘ ” she told CBS Los Angeles.

Geragos says it started when Hahn and her kids were on their way back from a birthday party and stopped to use a restroom.

Hahn said she then complained of the officer’s treatment towards her to a non-emergency police hotline, as she felt she was being intimidated and harassed by Valentine.

Hahn says her a couple of boys and girls, older seven (7) and 11, screeched simply because they experienced the frustration of watching that are caused by the 4wd – and her nihayet continues scared for life.

That day, Hahn was charged with resisting arrest and battery on a peace officer, but two years later, the charges have been dropped. She claims that shortly after, the same officer pulled her over for a seatbelt violation which escalated to the violent struggle caught on video. According to the lawsuit, the officer responded with a profanity.

Carlsbad police Chief Neil Gallucci said the department is restricted in what information it is legally able to share.

Moments later, a second officer masked by a motorcycle helmet is shown hiking down Hahn’s pink dress while helping her up.

The City of Carlsbad issued a statement to KCAL-TV, saying: “The City of Carlsbad looks forward to bringing this lawsuit before the proper judicial authorities as soon as possible”.

A Newhall mom filed a lawsuit after a video was released showing cops pinning her to the ground.

“They did not know there was a video”, Geragos said.

The Carlsbad Police Department says it will provide its account of the incident in court.
