Investigators said Jorge Guerrero is a person of interest in the disappearance of Diana Alvares, 9. The child pornography charges are related to allegations that Guerrero had photographs of a young girl’s body on a phone he had been in possession of, according to The News-Press. He is now being held on no bond at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Jail.

Records confirm there was communication from the cellphone used by Guerrero to a cellphone in the home used by those who lived there, including Diana, the complaint said.

Authorities said then the little girl may have been with Jorge Guerrero.

Guerrero was transferred to the Lee County Jail and charged by the FBI with child pornography, a federal offense.

He was tracked down and taken into custody on Saturday, almost a week after Diana Alvarez was last seen by her mother at the family’s San Carlos home.

Nearby residents said the property spans at least 10 miles and that they’ve seen investigators in the area for the last few days.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Osceola deputies are assisting the Lee County Sheriff’s Office with the search, but the exact location was not released. Pings a few hours later placed Guerrero-Torres along Yeehaw Junction in Osceola County for a period of time a short time later, according to the same arrest affidavit.
