Poll shows 7 out of 10 don’t like Trump
Still, Trump continues to lead the Republican race in delegates. While Trump has a solid lead in the polls there, he’s not taking any chances.

“And I’ve got this guy [Cruz]… looking at me, talking about “New York values”, with scorn on his face, with hatred, with hatred of New York”, Trump said.
Republicans can’t be bullied by the threat of a revolt by Trump supporters into giving their nomination to a man so widely detested.
The main reason Donald Trump doesn’t want to face a brokered Republican convention is the very real risk that the nomination might slip away from him.
Trump’s candidacy has created fractures within the state’s Republican Party. But the battle was largely over before a shot was sacked, as Cruz’s campaign successfully elected numerous local delegates in caucuses on March 1 who are now choosing national delegates. They united behind the party’s nominee and showed up at the polls to vote for Ford.
In Colorado, delegates can pledge themselves to a candidate or run unbound. That would set the stage for a July “contested convention”, in which, after an initial vote, delegates could support candidates who may not have been supported by voters back home.
Leing told MSNBC he planned to encourage delegates at the convention to keep the process “open and transparent”.
“We could be the final votes or delegates for any given campaign”.
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) – Donald Trump is expanding veteran operative Paul Manafort’s role in his campaign amid the increasingly likelihood of a contested Republican convention.
In new digital videos from Kasich’s campaign, as well as a similar TV ad from the super PAC supporting him, Cruz’s comments disparaging “New York values” are highlighted. Mr. Cruz’s hopes lies not on winning enough numbers before the convention, but in defeating Mr. Trump in a contested convention.
In Colorado on Friday, Ted Cruz showed Trump why it is that at the end of the day, the first kid winds up as a minor character in a Bruce Springsteen song while the other buys a mansion in the Caribbean that he rents out to Springsteen six months a year.
Some social media users mistook the article for a genuine news report, even though the “Borowitz Report” is a satirical column (clearly labeled as such) by comedian Andy Borowitz, whose humor pieces have appeared in The New Yorker since 1998. But Cruz has narrowed Trump’s advantage with a win in Wisconsin and delegate grabs in Colorado, Louisiana and North Dakota. The ballot will simply list delegate candidates, with no information about whom they support for president. These slates are voted on at state and congressional district conventions.

“I think every delegate’s going to be pivotal”, Sandler said.
