They quizzed Trump and Clinton about domestic terrorism, worldwide diplomacy, veteran suicide and more. Trump has made Islam and Muslims part of his campaign, and basically the jihadists see this as a great gift.

But as The New York Times points out, other moderators could run into similar issues when the formal presidential debates begin later this month, especially with Trump.
