POLLS: It’s getting tighter in the most crucial swing states
“Bernie blew the same Team Clinton out of the water in February”. He’s abandoned positions he’s taken in previous years – asserting now that he’s always opposed military interventions that he’s publicly supported in the past – and has reversed himself within days on issues like the deportation of 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the United States.

Clinton’s post-convention bump has dwindled as of late, with national polls showing an increasingly tight race.
Leveling unusually harsh criticism against the military, Republican Donald Trump said Wednesday night that America’s generals have been “reduced to rubble” under President Barack Obama and suggested he would fire some of them if he wins the presidency in November. Both of them have unfavorability ratings of more than 50 percent. “But you should. None of us is flawless”, Clinton said. “I just watched her on the tarmac”.
The Trump campaign addressed the clip in its daily email to reporters, taunting Clinton for her relative paucity of news conferences.
Clinton’s strategy could be effective if she sticks with it.
And that has motivated Clinton to strike hard at Trump.
The two remain tied when the most prominent third-party candidates are thrown into the race, with Trump and Clinton drawing 43 percent apiece. “If he doesn’t respect all Americans, how can he serve all Americans?”
The Trump campaign says he will outline plans to “add substantially” to the nation’s arsenal of submarines, ships and combat troops in a Wednesday morning speech in Philadelphia.
“I’m asking to be judged on the totality of my record”, said Clinton, who grew visibly irritated at times with the repeated focus on her past actions.
“(Clinton) has increased her attacks on (Trump) and pointed out he has his own foundation improprieties.
Trump running mate Mike Pence said last month he would advocate reconsidering the ban. But she still leads Trump nationally by more than 3 points in the Real Clear Politics average and in nearly every highly contested swing state.
He also said Russian Federation and the United States have common interests, but Putin has worked against the USA before. “And, look, the reality is that unlike any other election, at the presidential level, what people hear and see on the news is at least as important a driver – and probably a more important driver – of their attitudes than what they see on advertisements”.
One step in doing this: Having Clinton speak in softer, more humanizing formats such as the blog Humans of NY.
“In the last 24 hours, more retired generals and admirals have signed up to support my campaign”, Clinton said Thursday in Charlotte.
Clinton and Trump will both appear at a “commander in chief” forum on NBC on Wednesday night.
Pennsylvania: Clinton, 44; Trump, 39; Johnson, 9; Stein, 3. She had held gaggles over Labor Day weekend; now, she would take questions from the podium.

When asked Thursday which charity, Palmieri said, “Not the Clinton Foundation”.
