Ponca celebrates annual Lighted Christmas Parade
The City of Gulf Breeze Holiday Parade will begin at the Shoreline Drive/Daniel Drive entrance of Gulf Breeze High School and follow Shoreline Drive throughout the city.

After a nap, Santa Claus will return for a parade, tree lighting and fireworks.
The parade will roll down San Bernardo avenue at 6:00 pm, with over 100 entries.
Celebrate the joy, excitement and beauty of the season tonight at the annual Holiday Tree Lighting, presented by the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce.
Osage Tribal Museum, 819 Grandview, will open its “Creating Kids Exhibition” from 3-6 p.m. The winning artists will be announced at 5:30 p.m.
Floats by Chatterpillar Toys & Gifts are a highlight of the Holiday parade.
“We have many great traditions this time of year in Spartanburg, and the parade is certainly at or near the top of the list”, said Will Rothschild, city spokesman.
There will be Christmas carolers on the street and holiday music, with a warming tent for hot cider.
Alberta Health Services Urgent Care Centre will remain open during the parade, with two access points manned by emergency responders to provide preliminary assessment and escort to urgent care.
Milton Christmas Parade: “A Country Christmas”: 6 p.m. Saturday.
MINOOKA – The Minooka Fire Department, 7901 E. Minooka Road, will hold its annual Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m.to noon Sunday. (Center Top), Adelynne Brunell, 5, of Leominster has her picture taken with Santa Claus.
Everyone please go downtown with me on December 5 to attend the Greenville Poinsettia Christmas parade. Parade organizer Chad Rafferty said the parade is one of many events that is funded, in part, by the Island Wooden Bridge Festival in the summer.
This year’s parade will feature award-winning marching bands, floats, dance performances, giant helium balloons, clowns and of course, Santa. Visits are free and parents are invited to take their cameras.
The parade will start 2:30 p.m.at the intersection of Main Street and Seaboard Avenue in front of Greenwood Community Theatre.

City clerk and treasurer Barbara Spencer said there will be a toy giveaway for children following the parade. Free hot cocoa and cookies will also be offered, along with hot dogs for $2 and bratwurst hotdogs for $3.
