“We’re very excited and kind of honored to be releasing an album at the same time as the pope with a similar title”.

McVey also said that “it would be awesome to do a gig together” with Pope Francis at the Vatican.

“In the ’70s, I founded the prog-rock band Le Orme and topped the charts, toured Italy and United Kingdom and had the chance to collaborate with worldwide artists like Peter Hammil and David Jackson”, he tells Rolling Stone magazine.

The album features the Pope speaking in several languages addressing his audience in Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese. “For this reason, the voice of Pope Francis in Wake Up! dialogues music”.

Wake Up! will be available from November 27, with the iTunes pre-order now available with an instant download of Wake Up! Go! Go!
