Download Prisma from the iTunes App Store. Prisma, the iOS and Android app, lets users convert their photos into works of art in the style of Van Gogh, Picasso, and other famous artists. This used to take a lot of time for users having slow internet connection or when the servers were too busy. The developers plan to bring video editing feature to its app in the coming days. The latter benefit will allow its tech to work with video, in a later release, Prisma adds.

“Now that we’ve implemented neural networks right to the smartphones”, says the Moscow-based team behind Prisma in an interview with The Verge.

Furthermore, Prisma also stated regarding what’s next for those idle servers they host. The creators boasted that the app has been installed 52 million times and has amassed 4 million daily users.

Following the offline functionality of Prisma for photos, the servers will be used to render videos.

The time required to process an image offline varies across different devices.
