Portland Community Center hosts 7th annual Noon Year’s Eve
“So instead of counting down to midnight, we actually count down to noon”.

Organizers are already look ahead to next year’s celebration. The “Noon Year’s Eve” party kicked off at the Discovery Cube Orange County in Santa Ana with more than 1,000 kids and their parents celebrating with a balloon drop and even a ginger ale toast. “I’m going to ride my bicycle faster”, said one toddler.
Haven Magouirk, 7, said she doesn’t make resolutions, but she does enjoy the festivities and spending time with family.
“It’s a great opportunity for families to get together and celebrate the new year without having to stay up until midnight”.
