Colchester United will travel to play non-league Wealdstone in the first round of this season’s FA Cup.

Several non-league teams made it into the hat. Posh had Gaby Zakuani sent off in that match, but rallied from 2-0 down and were denied a last-gasp equaliser from Jermiane Anderson by a awful refereeing decision from Graham Salisbury, one that led to a written apology from the matchday assessor.
Posh have only previously been drawn against Burton once before in the FA Cup.
AFC Fylde won through to the first round proper for the third time in four years with Saturday’s 1-0 home win over Barrow.
Following last season’s tour around the country, The Cup is back out on the road this campaign, and its first stop – the clubhouse at Thackley Juniors FC.
Todd himself had fancied a tie against south coast neighbours Portsmouth but, instead, it’s their National League rivals Macclesfield Town who will be visiting Fratton Park.

The 40 first round ties will be played over the weekend of 7 and 8 November and will receive unprecedented coverage from the BBC.
