With Boykin out, redshirt freshman Foster Sawyer will start tonight against the No. 7 ranked Sooners. Doctson, a former walk-on, has been one of the top receivers in college football this season, with 79 catches for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns. The Sooners are making people forget their loss to Texas, although the result of next week’s Bedlam showdown with Oklahoma State in Stillwater could depend on the health of Mayfield, who had played himself into Heisman contention. Nothing short of a convincing win against the Sooners on Saturday will do. TCU doesn’t have a premiere running game, but they have rushed for over 200 yards in every game except their matchup against Iowa State.
