Postman got arrested for stealing dozens of meerkat toys and selling them on eBay

A postman was arrested few days back for stealing and selling the company’s official meerkat toys.

According to the report, the company, called comparethemarket.com provides these toys to each of their customer who uses their service.

But the postman, David Livesey, through which the company was sending the toys, played a game and kept several toys with him which he later sell via eBay for $10 to $60.

Company tried to found out the real culprit by fixing a tracking device with a parcel, after they got several complaints of not receiving meerkats.

Mr. Livesey, from Lancashire, later admitted his crime of theft. He was given a six-month suspended sentence, a three-month curfew and fined $100 (approx.).
