The details of the arrest actually get even worse for the pair of Alabama Crimson Tide players. Robinson faces three charges, including one felony, while Jones faces two misdemeanor charges.
Robinson is being charged with possession of a controlled unsafe substance, the illegal carrying of a weapon and the illegal possession of a stolen firearm – which is a felony. His bond has been set at $750.
The twin arrests – the inmate summaries can be viewed HERE (Robinson) and HERE (Jones) – were initiated when a police officer observed a vehicle parked in a park after it was closed.
His bond information has not been made public at this time.
Jones was also charged with possessing a handgun in the presence of narcotics. The arresting officers say they also noticed a handgun on the passenger’s lap and a bag of marijuana on the driver’s side floorboard.
Robinson, a rising junior, has started on the Alabama offensive line since he was a freshman and the left tackle earned first-team, All-SEC honors after a strong 2015 campaign.

The school has yet to comment on the development, although a statement from Saban is expected at some point today.
