Pottermore Presents will begin with three new Harry Potter e-books, which have already been listed at retailers in the USA, described as collections of short reads from Pottermore and penned by J K Rowling. All three are about Hogwarts, but only two promise “short reads originally featured on pottermore.com with some exclusive new additions”.

It’s going to be a good fall…

According an announcement on the official Pottermore website, three new eBooks that “dig deep into the Harry Potter stories” will be available on September 6 for $3 Dollars each.

The eBooks are already available to pre-order.

The guide to Hogwarts will look more at the “permanent residents” and “discover secrets of the castle”. Namechecked in the description are Professor Umbridge, Ministers for Magic, Azkaban (not sure how that has to do with Hogwarts, but okay), Horace Slughorn, and Slughorn’s relationship with Tom Marvolo Riddle.

“Pottermore Presents” will include new and old stories (some previously published on the Pottermore website), along with her own first-person reflections on the wizard universe.

Harry Potter’s adventures may be over, but his creator isn’t finished with the magical world yet. This September, Pottermore is launching Pottermore Presents, a series of ebook shorts about the Wizarding World.

A further spinoff of the Potter universe, the prequel film “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, is set for worldwide release in November. The eBooks will delight readers as they take them beyond the Harry Potter stories and deeper into the wizarding world.
