Powerball jackpot at $487 million dollars no winning ticket yet
“I think it’s one of the most exciting things that have happened”, shopper Sandra Consalvo told WBZ-TV Sunday, hours after it was announced the store sold the only winning ticket in Saturday night’s national drawing. On that night, a 70-year-old Trenton woman and her seven adult children captured a $429.8 million prize, the largest lottery prize won in New Jersey.

Powerball is played in 44 states (plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
A Powerball ticket bought July 27 in Arlington won $1 million, Virginia Lottery officials said.

This allows them to generate bigger jackpots, increase sales, and ultimately offer larger prizes.
The winning numbers were 11, 17, 21, 23, 32 and Power Play 5.
Lottery officials remind players that they could be a victor even if they don’t win the jackpot prize.
“As the first lottery in the nation, the New Hampshire Lottery has a long tradition of creating winners”, said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission.
The Powerball jackpot has grown to over 1.5 billion dollars. It was the eighth-largest lottery prize in the history of the US earlier Saturday, when it was at $478 million.
The drawing is at 7:29 p.m. Deadline is 7:08 p.m.
The victor – or winners – could take the $478 million prize spread out across 30 years or opt for a lump-sum payment of $330.6 million before federal taxes.
