Many lottery players are stocking up on Powerball tickets for the upcoming drawing for a $500 million jackpot.

“I’d have a little fun with it. But I would probably find some different avenues to invest it”, said resident Shep Sheppard.

Nobody has matched all six numbers in one of the bi-weekly Powerball drawings since November 7, 2015.

The pot keeps growing, but your odds of winning still sit at just one in 292 million.

“My wife reminded me”, Tafolla said.

The Powerball jackpot is one of the largest ever at $500 million. She was 84 years old at the time. This is the fourth-largest payout in the game’s history, according to CNN Money. Over the last year or so, this place has sold a lot of lottery as it is and we had a million dollar victor a year ago yesterday.

LottoNumbers.com posted that the most picked Powerball is 20, last drawn 11 days ago. We also had a million-dollar victor again in may. The tickets were purchased in North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Texas.

“You can’t win if you don’t play”.

Powerball is offered in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Although you’re 300 times more likely to be struck by lightning than win tonight’s Powerball lottery, that did not stop millions from lining up Wednesday to buy a chance at the $500 million jackpot.

Another big Powerball prize is up for grabs.

Of course, everyone thinks they have the winning ticket. They are $2 a piece and must be paid with cash only.

The drawing is held at 10:59 p.m., and if there is no victor the jackpot will be even higher when the next drawing is held on Saturday.

Even though the odds of winning are slim- people are still buying in. TMJ4
