Powerball’s big $1.5 billion drawing is tonight

If no one matches all five numbers plus the Powerball for Wednesday’s drawing, the jackpot will continue to grow.

Torontonians still have a chance to get their hands on a ticket in what is believed to be the largest lotto jackpot ever offered anywhere in the world. Since no one has won, the prize keeps growing, along with ticket sales in the 44 participating states, as well as the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Two weeks ago it was a mere $400 million, but it’s since tripled to hit $1.5 billion. “I’ve never bought one”. Just getting the Powerball (the red number, from 1 to 26) is worth $4, doubling your money. Nobody had the winning numbers for the $949 million Powerball jackpot in the Saturday drawing.

The estimated jackpot for the Wednesday draw is up to $1.5 billion with sales going up thanks to online lottery agents.
