The lucky Florida victor will be revealed on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.at the state’s lottery headquarters in Tallahassee and claim the massive million dollar prize.
A third winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven convenience store in the city of Chino Hills, California, according to the state’s lottery. The winners will be present during the announcement.
Winners have 180 days to claim their prize if they choose to receive their payments in increments or 60 days if they choose the lump sum option.
It became the largest jackpot in history after more than 10 weeks without a victor.
The winning Florida ticket in the January 13 drawing was purchased at the Publix near Melbourne Beach.
That was also a result of a then-record Mega Millions Jackpot worth $656 million.
“A total of $8.5 million in Powerball prizes were won during this run and $3.1 million was earned by retailers who sell Lottery tickets”, Reardon said.

The odds of winning the $1.58 billion jackpot were 1 in 292.2 million.
