Thankfully the quake with its epicenter near Afghanistan-Tajikistan border hasn’t caused any damage (at least till the time of this report going to press).

People in Delhi rushed from their homes into the chilling cold outside as soon as the quake started.

“Zarid Ahmad, a resident of Gulatha Harni in Mendhar of Jammu city suffered a shock during the natural disaster”, Police said. “Anything in this regard can be said after we have all the details”, he said.

It is second powerful quake in the region after a 7.5 magnitude tremor on October 26 struck Pakistan and northeastern Afghanistan, killing over 390 people and injuring more than 2500.
