Powerful tornadoes touch down in Oklahoma, 2 killed
One man was killed in Garvin county, KFOR reported. Arkansas is expected to witness tornadoes overnight Monday.

At least one other tornado was reported to have hit Oklahoma, the service said.
The Storm Prediction Centre in Norman, Oklahoma, warned that twisters as far north as Nebraska and Iowa could develop.
He said the man suffered cuts and bruises, but his home was destroyed.
Forecasters say severe storms are likely Monday in parts of the Southern and Great Plains states, with tornadoes and very large hail a possibility in some areas.
Keli Cain, the public information officer of the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management, said the first report of a tornado was after 4 p.m.in Garvin County.
At least two people were killed and several others hurt as tornadoes hit near Oklahoma City, capital of the USA state of Oklahoma, and the rolling hills south of the city Monday afternoon.
There were reports of eight unsafe tornadoes in Oklahoma alone today.
Although several forecasters predicted the likelihood of tornadoes was low on Monday, the National Weather Service later in the day issued five simultaneous tornado warnings.
She said homes were destroyed and damaged there. The National Weather Service says a tornado briefly touched down on the southeast edge of Lincoln, Neb., and there were reports of bas.

Sandy Weyers, the director of the Cass County Emergency Management office, said a homeowner didn’t make it inside by the time the tornado arrived so he grabbed onto a tree and “rode it out”.
