Powers gets a trailer for season two
I’m not a Sony Playstation Network subscriber, so, unfortunately, except for the first episode which was released for free online, I still haven’t watched season 1 of the PlayStation Original series “Powers”, produced by Sony Pictures Television, which was renewed for a second season earlier this year, slated for release in the USA in 2016. In the player below, you can take a look at the return of the live action series adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming’s acclaimed comic book series. Copley is really excited for the new season, and happy that the show is going to start incorporating more from the comics (which he has read and loves).

Not mentioned in the Variety story announcing the second season of Powers is the fact that I will not be staying with the show.
The first official trailer for Powers: Season 2 has been unveiled. By the way, Bendis is also co-creator of the Netflix/Marvel “Jessica Jones” series.
Inspired by the graphic novels of the same name, “Powers” follows the lives of 2 homicide detectives, Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim. He’s now a detective who investigates cases involving those with powers, but the murder of Retro Girl is probably his biggest case to date. They’re joined by Max Fowler, Adam Godley, Noah Taylor, Olesya Rulin and Eddie Izzard.
So if you passed on the first season or it wasn’t your thing, maybe season 2 will change that.
According to the show’s Comic-Con panel, they won’t be doing a straightforward adaptation of the comic storyline, so who killed Retro Girl is also one of the season’s biggest mysteries.

Now, thanks a recently-posted first look at season two, viewers can get a taste of the dark thrills to come.
