Amboli police booked Rahul Raj Singh, boyfriend of late television actress Pratyusha Banerjee, for allegedly molesting an aspiring actress, 21, and assaulting her male friend outside a restaurant in Andheri West early on Monday.

The FIRs in both cases have been registered under sections 354 (sexual harassment), 324 (voluntarily causing hurt using unsafe weapon), 509 (word, gesture or act meant to insult the modesty of a woman) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code. When I intervened to stop Rahul, he abused and attacked me.
Singh was having dinner and drinks with his friend, while the 21-year-old actress was going to the restaurant with her producer friend for the same. When the actress along with her producer friend entered the restaurant, Rahul approached the actress’ friend and started beating him up!
When Bollywood Life got in touch with Rahul Raj Singh, he said, “This is false news”.
This time, a case of molestation has been registered against Singh by the Amboli police.
However, Rahul has denied all the allegations and said that his name just got engaged in the matter. Sahila Chaddha, sister of Rahul Raj Singh told Bollywood Life, “This incident happened on Saturday night when we were dining at Bora Bora”. However, he refused it saying he is busy with some other project.
As per the reports in repercussion to the scenario, even Rahul and his friend lodged a FIR. The producer feels that Rahul was taking revenge on him for disapproving his project!
Pratyusha had committed suicide after a fight with Rahul. There were several arguments between us before he left the office. We will verify CCTV footage and take statements in the matter. No arrest has been made so far.

On July 20, Singh was accused of abetting girlfriend Pratyusha Banerjee’s suicide, assault and criminal intimidation in a 1,000-page charge sheet.
