The former neurosurgeon came under the microscope in recent days as he began to lead polls in a large GOP field. Jansing later asked if Carson was having “fun” running for president and Carson said, “Would I have preferred doing something else?” And from the start of her campaign (April 2015) until now, we discovered a combined 44 NYT/WaPo articles about Hillary Clinton and her email server.

Carson has declined to identify individuals involved in his violent outbursts, but on Monday, he did point to a 1997 story featuring his mother Sonya who told Parade magazine about the attempted stabbing and said: “Oh, that really happened”.

Dr. Carson is now leading 28-27.
