While the Moto G lineup was once seen as a “mid-range” smartphone, it’s quite clear that the device is now a bit more high-end, at least this year.

Motorola’s announcement of the impending release came with a big infographic about unlocked phones in the US.
Announcing three new smartphones in the Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 Play. Customers can pay $30 extra to get 32GB internal storage on the Moto G4.
The Moto G4 will start at $199.99, while the G4 Plus starts at $249.99. Moto Maker offers all customization options for both handsets including engraving. Are you planning on picking up the Moto G4 when it launches next month?
The smartphones will be available online at Amazon.com and Motorola.com and in stores at Best Buy, Sam’s Club and more.
Will you be pre-ordering a Moto G4 or Moto G4 Plus? Spec-wise they share some similarities too, both including a 5.5-inch full HD TFT display coated in Gorilla Glass 3, 3000mAh battery, 5MP front facing camera and Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. The G4 Plus also offers a 16-megapixel rear camera, which is slightly higher-resolution than the G4’s 13-megapixel, and the G4 Plus’s camera also boasts laser autofocus and phase detect autofocus features. The only known carrier as of now where you’ll be able to get these devices will be at Republic Wireless on July 28th. The company hasn’t yet broken down the prices for RAM and storage upgrades, if they’ll even be available in the U.S.
