The spread of the Zika virus in Brazil needs to be monitored but is not a threat to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, Germany’s chief Olympic doctor said on Wednesday.

Officials wouldn’t disclose whether the infected Cleveland woman was pregnant.

Earlier in the day, health officials announced that four people in Allegheny County were being tested for the virus.

Health officials on Tuesday reported the state’s first two cases of the Zika virus, involving two travelers who had visited Haiti.

The two had recently traveled outside the U.S.to places affected by the ongoing outbreak of the mosquito-borne virus, said the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

“We will continue to provide updated Zika guidance to health care professionals across the commonwealth to ensure they are aware of the symptoms associated with the disease and the protocols that should be followed to ensure testing of potentially infected individuals, if needed”, Murphy said in a statement.

The commission said the chances of the virus spreading in China were “extremely low” due to cold winter temperatures and a lack of mosquito activity, the primary avenue by which Zika is transmitted. The CDC is recommending pregnant women or those trying to get pregnant consider postponing travel to affected areas, including Central America, South America and Caribbean countries. Others may have mild fevers, rashes, joint and muscle pains or headaches that last from several days to a week, but “hospitalization is uncommon”.

But the message to most Ohioans for the moment: Don’t panic.

The virus is carried by mosquitoes and has been linked to birth defects.
