Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United linked with Antoine Griezmann
‘Everything in this life has to end, but to this day, I don’t see an Atletico Madrid without Simeone. It could so happen that the next giant transfer rigmarole involves another Frenchman who happens to be a good friend of Pogba’s – Antoine Griezmann.

Simeone is under contract until June 2020 but rumours continue to swirl around his future following his success in recent years with Atleti.
Chelsea are planning to hijack Manchester United’s attempts to sign Antoine Griezmann and are lining-up a huge bid for the £84m-rated Atletico Madrid striker, according to a report in the Express.
‘He’s the best coach in the world and the best coach for this Atletico Madrid’.
Per-the-source, the Blues are set to rival Manchester United for the France international’s signature.
There’s a long way to go before this one is resolved but. with Griezmann looking certain to leave Spain next summer, it looks as if Chelsea and United are gearing up for a real slug fest in the summer transfer window.
Infuriatingly, the chasm between the underdogs of football and the richest clubs is getting bigger and bigger and not helped by the new Champions League format that starts in 2018.
Matt Law then reminds us of Chelsea’s apparent push for a new striker this summer, though the obvious angle here will be the potential return/swap for Diego Costa.
