Premier League Predictions: Tottenham vs. Arsenal, Conte pressure

Nacho Monreal is expected to recover from his illness in time for Saturday, but both Danny Welbeck and Petr Cech will undergo late fitness tests before the match to determine whether they can play.

Arsenal have won just three of their 13 away matches in the Premier League this term, and have also been goal-shy on the road with just 15 strikes to their name, so they will be hoping new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will help change that.

We all know the league race is over in Germany, however expect an exciting and attacking game full of goals when, Schalke travel to Munich.

“Spurs fans never go into these games in the same way as its part of our DNA to worry”.

Sanchez and Mesut Ozil starred for the Gunners having previously turned in lacklustre displays in their 3-1 defeat to Man City a week earlier.

“I feel very good”.

Arsenal secured a morale boosting win against their north London rivals in November but they have failed to build on a hugely impressive performance. Spurs moved to Wembley for this season due to construction going on at White Hart Lane for a new stadium that is set to be unveiled next season.

Spurs, who missed several chances in the second half with Fernando Llorente, substitute Dele Alli and Lamela all guilty of wasting opportunities, will travel to third-tier Rochdale in the last 16.

He added: “Our strikers are top class as well and we want them to express their talent”. “Hopefully this will be the end of it now”.

Much of the hype around Spurs this season is down to 24-year-old England striker Kane, who has an wonderful 31 goals in 32 competitive games.

The past week or two, however, has seen Spurs come out the other side, with wins over Manchester United and a spirited draw away to Liverpool.

“It is linked with the fact that at Wembley you play special games where you are under pressure to perform and we responded well to it every time”.

Spurs lay claim to the league’s fourth best home record, taking 28 points from 39 at Wembley. This isn’t a concern for us.

“Arsenal will be tough to play, they have good quality, talented players and are one of the best teams in the league”, Pochettino said.

Begrudgingly, Arsenal have improved substantially since the transfer window closed about a week ago.

While Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will add zest to their attack, it’s hard to ignore that travel sickness – especially when considering they’ve won just once in the league at Spurs since 2007.
