President Jimmy Carter gets a kiss on Kiss Cam

Everyone likes a cool moment on the big screen at a game. But what if that cute old couple were famous fans of the team? Speaking at the annual A Conversation With the Carters event with his wife, Rosalynn, Carter said he hadn’t experienced any “ill effects” from his treatment with Keytruda, a recently approved immune system-boosting drug. Since that announcement, Carter has slowed down a bit, but it hasn’t stopped him from continuing to teach Sunday school classes in his Georgia hometown.

The former president is no stranger at Braves games, but he has made several public appearances this week after last month’s announcement about his cancer diagnosis. Don’t believe me? Take a look here. He has seen a lot of baseball. MLB.com posted the video, which shows the 39th President putting a Commander-in-Chief-style kiss on his lady. Carter was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 because of his work through the Carter Center.

The three wrote questions asking Carter what he liked most about being president and living in Atlanta, then added one more: Can we get a selfie with you?
