President Obama Born in the USA “Period”
“No, there is nothing to base that on – as far as I know”.

“I was pretty confident about where I was born”, the president observed.
Continuing on the (again, baseless) premise that Clinton started the birther theory, the Trump campaign instead tries to advance two of its anti-Clinton narratives: that she is untrustworthy and that she is not strong enough to be president.
Trump’s remarks, which he made at his new Washington hotel, come a day after his campaign suggested he had settled the issue five years ago.
Obama says, “We’ve got so many other things to do”.
“Why won’t you take questions?” a London Daily Mail reporter shouted at him, the publication reported. The Trump Campaign had earlier issued a statement saying that Trump believes that Obama was born in the United States.
Clinton said Friday Trump’s campaign was “founded on this outrageous lie” and “there is no erasing it”.
All Americans have learned from this is that Donald Trump is a quack.
Prior to Shaheen’s comments, a volunteer coordinator in Iowa had to step down from the Clinton campaign after the coordinator sent an e-mail saying Obama was a Muslim. Other journalists found the same thing, FactCheck points out. Trump has always been among the most prominent individuals stoking “birther” conspiracy theories by questioning Obama’s origins and eligibility for the presidency, including a 2011 stunt in which he made a show of sending investigators to Hawaii to look for the president’s birth certificate.
The comments from Trump Friday came less than a day after Trump refused to say in a Washington Post interview that he believed Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii. “You know what I mean”, Trump said. “I just don’t want to answer it yet”, Trump told The Post.
Donald Trump has finally acknowledged the fact that President Barack Obama was born in the United States. “Think of how unsafe that is”, she said. I want to focus on jobs. “I said absolutely not”. “He still wouldn’t say America”, Clinton said.
“These are in-your-face kind of efforts on the part of one man who is misusing the media in order to heap indignities upon the president of these United States”, Clyburn told reporters at a hastily assembled press conference with members of the Congressional Black Caucus. “When will he stop this ugliness, this bigotry?” she asked.
The Clinton campaign immediately seized on the fact that Trump didn’t issue the statement himself. “He still wouldn’t say America”, Clinton said.
Jimmy Fallon asks if he can mess up Donald Trump’s famously controversial hair while the Republican presidential nominee is still a civilian. Trump believed in the Birther Movement long after the release of Obama’s birth certificate.
During a Fox Business interview earlier Friday, Trump had also brought up his claim about Clinton.
Has Donald Trump ever been held accountable for his actions in his entire adult life?
Eventually, Obama publicly released in 2011 in a White House news conference a document he said was his Hawaii birth certificate. In 2012, The New York businessman wrote on Twitter that the president’s birth certificate was “a fraud”.
The Trump campaign has given conflicting signals on the issue of Obama’s birthplace in recent weeks. “So I don’t talk about it”.
Aside from providing a secondhand answer about Trump’s birther beliefs, the statement was also an excellent illustration of the Trump campaign’s playbook.

Trump spoke only after first extolling the virtues of his new hotel and after more than 20 minutes of veterans touting the Republican nominee, allowing the candidate to drape himself in patriotism and receive free publicity from the cable networks carrying the event live.
