Hillary Clinton said that “We are going to follow the money” in her Democratic National Convention speech Thursday night.

Clinton served in the Obama administration during its first term following a contentious primary battle between the two former senators.
“Tonight, I ask you to do for Hillary Clinton what you did for me”.
“First, she’s consistent. With Hillary it’s not just about words, it’s accomplishments”.
Biden was confident about her becoming the next president for one reason – she was the only candidate that would really “be there” for the average Joe, because that is her life story. Clinton spoke of optimistic topics and about her being the first female candidate for presidency. If you’re serious about our democracy, you can’t afford to stay home just because she might not align with you on every issue.
“That is another bet that Donald Trump will lose”, Obama continued.
Mixing in fluent Spanish throughout his remarks, Kaine reflected on his time as a missionary in Honduras and how it shaped his view of public service.
“I love Joe Biden”, said Tammie Lewis, a MI delegate.
In a Facebook posting, New Mexico delegate Kathleen Burke says Obama is “highly complicit in the silencing” of liberals because he supported Clinton over Sanders for the presidential nomination.
In a fiery denunciation of Republican Donald Trump, “middle class Joe” Biden – the kid from Scranton – said Donald Trump has no “empathy” for the middle class.
“Donald Trump’s running mate Mike Pence gave a speech at the convention and even poked fun at the fact most people don’t know who he is”.
“By so many measures, our country is stronger and more prosperous than it was when we started”, Obama said. “No, we endure, we overcome and we always, always, always move forward”, he said.
As commander-in-chief Clinton said she would exercise “resolve and the precise and strategic application of power”.
“Everybody knows she’s smart”.

“She knows what’s at stake in the decisions our government makes for the working family, the senior citizen, the small business owner, the soldier, and the veteran”. “I think you’ll be rewarded mightily by our press!”. PBS said its viewership for Clinton’s speech was 3.91 million people, and 2.75 million the week earlier for Trump. “She’ll finish the job – and she’ll do it without resorting to torture, or banning entire religions from entering our country”.
