President Obama’s new plan to curb gun violence is an illusion
President Barack Obama said on Monday his new executive actions to tighten gun rules were “well within” his legal authority and consistent with the US right to bear arms, a warning to opponents who are likely to challenge them in court.

Asked about her reaction to the president’s tears today, Tantaros said that if Pres. Obama “really cared about an issue, especially like Chicago in his hometown, and it was plausible, he would be doing something very different and he would have spoken out a long time ago”.
Illinois Carry spokeswoman Valinda Rowe says expanding background checks won’t prevent tragedies like Sandy Hook, San Bernardino or the others. “We should follow his lead and be courageous in our approach to fighting gun violence”. Access to guns comes too easy, he said.
The group also for some reason insisted that the President of the United States should be relegated to focusing on gun violence only in his hometown of Chicago, and that he has not shown passion for any issue other than guns.

Today we were honored to join law enforcement partners, advocates, faith leaders, victims of gun violence, and their families, in the East Room of the White House as President Obama signed into law a series of executive actions which will help reclaim communities coast to coast from the bloodshed wrought by illegal guns. “You want that for – I mean, we feel frighten about what’s going on with ISIS”.
As for smart gun technology that president touted, Rowe says there are better ways to protect kids from getting a hold of guns like teaching gun safety in schools.

Background checks have blocked more than 2 million gun sales over the years, Durbin said, but people still find loopholes.
