Presidential candidate could lose a few pounds, but otherwise healthy – adviser

Donald Trump on Thursday released a letter from his doctor summarizing his latest physical examination as the health of the two major-party presidential nominees has taken center stage in the campaign.

Trump, ever the showman, appeared on “The Dr. Oz Show” in what was billed by the campaign as a discussion about his general well-being and his family’s medical history.

The exam was done by the same doctor who released a statement not too long ago saying that Trump would be the “healthiest president in history” if he was to be elected in November, according to CNN Money News.

Snow was not seen to challenge Oz, who was giving her an exclusive, when he said he was “caught off guard” as Trump handed him the document Oz had said one day earlier he was going to get during today’s taping. But his campaign won’t reveal what was disclosed. But Ivanka Trump was on hand “to speak further about the child care and maternity leave initiative that the Trump campaign announced Tuesday night”, the statement said.

“He said that he’s in great shape and Oz seemed to agree based on the letter from his doctor”, audience member Carmela Villa told CNN.

Trump’s appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show” came as his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, faced questions about how transparent she has been about her health. “Additionally, as all physicians do when seeing a patient for the first time, Dr. Oz took Mr. Trump through a full review of systems”.

Hillary Clinton’s health recently has made news in the wake of a pneumonia diagnosis she did not initially disclose, but that caused her to leave a September 11memorial early and become dizzy and stumble while walking to her motorcade. “He didn’t say anything specific on anything”, one audience member tells Politico.

“I think I could lose a little weight”. The note concluded: “the remainder of her complete physical exam was normal and she is in excellent mental condition”.

In his Fox interview, Oz said he doesn’t think Trump would release “embarrassing” details on the program.

Clinton’s team has instead called attention to Trump’s tax returns, which he hasn’t released, unlike every major party nominee over the last few decades.
