Presidential Candidate John Kasich Says He’ll Reunite Pink Floyd
In an interview with the presidential hopeful, CNN’s Alisyn Camerota wrapped things up with a question about the best concert he’s ever experienced. “Never mind that Kasich appears to be a candidate who would strongly disagree with the “We don’t need no education” refrain in “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2”, from Pink Floyd’s epic “The Wall” album”.

Kasich then reportedly added, “and if I’m president, I am going to once and for all try to reunite Pink Floyd to come together and play a couple of songs”.
A Pink Floyd reunion may be rather hard, as the band split in 1994 and hasn’t performed together since 2005. Kasich said he saw “The Wall” in Pittsburgh, and it was “absolutely incredible”.
The Ohio governor is trying to lock down the dad vote by promising to reunite Pink Floyd.
“That’s better than “Comfortably Numb”,” Camerota agreed.
We’ve heard our share of outlandish election pledges over the years – and goodness knows we’re bracing ourselves for a few more in the next three weeks – but John Kasich may have set a new high watermark. “I don’t even have to think twice, it was the best”, Stereogum reports.
The Ohio governor added that he admires Roger Waters, the classic rock outfit’s co-founder, bassist and vocalist.

Kasich faces an uphill battle reuniting the band’s defining lineup, according to Billboard Magazine.
