Presidential candidates are racing to the convention finish line
Sanders did pick up a handful of superdelegates who were previously uncommitted in Vermont, Utah and Nevada, according to his campaign sources.

Trump devoted more time to campaigning in IN than he has to most other states, underscoring his eagerness to put his Republican rival away and shift his attention toward Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.
Sanders made the remarks during an interview with Fox Business, when she was asked about the status of the investigation.
Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders were vying for victory in the Democratic primary, though it was too early to call the race as votes were being tallied.
“I mean, it would be nice if the Federal Bureau of Investigation moved it along”, she added, with a laugh.
“What our campaign is doing is bringing millions of Americans into the political process”, said Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager, in a statement accompanying a news release announcing the April numbers.
Trump, after Tuesday’s landslide victory, said in a speech that Clinton was playing the “woman card” in her effort to win the nomination.
In any case, the Clinton campaign is not anxious even if Sanders does upset Clinton. After 2 hours the votes between the Democratic candidates began to shift from a marginal lead in Clinton’s favor to a Sanders victory. But he proceeded to make the argument that superdelegates from states he won should back him.
Count Jane Sanders among those who don’t think the “Bernie or bust” movement has legs.
Clinton’s aides say that this month we should expect her to travel to both primary states and battleground states like OH and Virginia. Half of Democratic voters in IN want to see the next president continue President Obama’s policies and just over a third want more liberal policies.
Even as he focused on the general election, Trump was among the candidates courting IN voters Sunday ahead of the state’s vote with 57 GOP delegates at stake.
Most Clinton and Sanders supporters say they would probably or definitely vote for either candidate if they became the nominee.
Although Sanders’ chances of winning the nomination still appear remote, any future delegates he wins will add to his influence at the Democratic convention.
Clinton trails by 7 points in a hypothetical general election matchup with Trump’s one remaining competitor for the GOP nod, Ohio Gov. John Kasich. In the new poll, 41% say they would be enthusiastic about her candidacy, up from 34% in March.

Kasich’s campaign said the OH governor will stay in the race as Trumps’ sole Republican contender. It doesn’t matter whether Sanders wins Indiana, Maddow said, because no one is sure what that would mean for the “endgame”.
