Presidential Race Moves West Tuesday To Arizona, Utah And Idaho
Even if that happens, however, a double-digit win for Clinton in Arizona would mean her big lead in the delegate race would remain largely unchanged. Western Tuesday, in presidential primaries and caucuses – find out how to watch live results online as they come in tonight.

Police have been called to help with traffic control in some places, while one polling place ran out of ballots. Speaking on Fox News, Donald Trump cited the attacks as a validation of his aggressive rhetoric against Islamic terrorism.
Trump could significantly benefit from those rules if Cruz doesn’t win the majority. And the Democratic site crashed about an hour before the start of the party’s caucuses. When Democrats are asked about the Republican candidates, they are most likely to be scared of a Trump presidency (76 percent), but least scared of a Kasich presidency (12 percent). The one more recent survey, by Opinion Savvy, had Trump leading Cruz 46 percent to 33 percent, but it was a one-day survey, and those tend to be less reliable.
It’s very likely the Republican’s party’s frontrunner won’t win in Utah, often called the reddest state in the country.
On the Democratic side, Mrs Clinton is dogged by an unyielding opponent in Bernie Sanders, whose well-funded grass-roots campaign is going strong despite a string of losses and the former secretary of state’s growing pile of delegates – 1656 to his 877, including super-delegates, according to CNN.
On Sunday, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said the party was “preparing for [the] possibility” of the first contested nominating convention in generations.
Today’s votes will be held against the backdrop of the terrorist attacks in Brussels. This year, the Arizona primary is scheduled for the same day as the Utah caucus, the Idaho Democratic caucus and the American Samoa Republican caucus. Both models project that Trump will earn less than 15 percent of the vote.
Right now, Trump has 695 delegates.
Republican rival John Kasich, the governor of OH, struck a different tone, pledging to “redouble our efforts with our allies” and saying the United States “must strengthen our alliances” in the face of acts of terror.
A candidate can take all 40 delegates if they get more than 50 percent of the vote. Ted Cruz is expected to win the vast majority, if not all, of Utah’s 44 delegates. However, with a large showing of support for Bernie Sanders at his Tucson rally and a undeniable presence of Trump protesters, we will have to wait and see what unfolds Tuesday. Similarly, Clinton pulled a slight lead over Sanders in Missouri, however, due to party and state proportionality rules, both were equally awarded 34 delegates.
Two thirds of those surveyed said it would be “bad” if the GOP nominee is not the candidate who earned the most delegates in the state primaries and caucuses. In primary voting and caucuses so far, Trump has 680 delegates, Cruz has 424 and Kasich has 143.

There has also been some talk about potentially tapping a candidate not now in the race if Mr. Trump, Sen. “With the weather so hot and so many senior people like me, this is getting risky to stand in these lines for so long in the sun”.
