The choice to reveal medical results on a TV talk show is an unusual one for a presidential candidate, but one that is certainly in line with the former reality TV star’s unconventional campaign.

Trump, 70, said Monday on Fox News that he had undergone a physical exam within the last week and would release “very, very specific numbers” from it. Democrats have criticized him for attacking Clinton’s transparency on health even after he released just a four-paragraph letter from a doctor a year ago.

Clinton released a letter from her doctor on Wednesday declaring her “fit to serve” as president.

At the time, Bornstein declared Trump would be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”.

Bornstein later said he only took five minutes to write that clean bill of health, and a Trump auto was waiting outside while he penned the note.

The full interview with Oz will air Thursday afternoon, but clips show Trump saying he wants to lose 15-20 pounds, but finds it hard to get exercise on the campaign trail.

After the taping, however, a press release from the show stated that the Republican presidential nominee did in fact share some personal medical information. It also highlights his aims to compete in the industrial Midwest, thought polls have him down in MI, which last went Republican in 1988.

Kaine spoke to reporters Wednesday after visiting a Democratic campaign office in Gary, Indiana. Clinton visited Flint in February.

“Well, I have really no problem in doing it”, the 70-year-old Trump responds. And when asked how he copes with anger, Trump said he doesn’t “think it matters that much”. He has argued that Democratic policies have left inner cities impoverished and unsafe and has taken to asking voters of color “What have you got to lose?” in voting for him. He said that if he had been hospitalized recently, “it’s going to be out there bigly”.

Reports had suggested that the interview would include a discussion of the results from Trump’s most recent physical examination. Mishori wonders whether the tests were run because there was some underlying medical concern or simply because the doctors of wealthy people are more likely to order up tests.
