Roy Morgan’s annual look at new vehicle buying intentions among AFL club fans found that 16 per cent of Giants supporters are in the market for a new auto, placing the team third in the research giant’s rankings, and second in comparison with other clubs without a auto sponsor (the St Kilda Saints was first with 17 per cent).

Greater Western Sydney coach Leon Cameron is adamant his young side will not be unnerved against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday when they seek to secure a spot in the AFL grand final.

I wouldn’t say it’s rife within our group but it’s a very healthy and strong belief. what they’ve done for each other, there’s an inbuilt trust now.

“They’ll wake up tomorrow morning and no doubt there will be some nerves”.

After averaging 84 points in the home-and-away season, the Dogs have averaged over 100 in their first two finals.

Cameron said on Friday morning he would rotate his own midfield guns on Bontempelli, jokingly suggesting even ruckman Rory Lobb could have a stint on the 192-centimetre young gun.

“This is really what you want. we’re really confident”.

“We’ve chosen Rhys, we feel as though he could provide a target for us up forward, provide some really good forward pressure and go into the midfield if we need him”. They are two youthful teams in a hurry and it would not surprise if they regularly meet during September in the next few years. “Both sides will crack in, run really hard and play an exciting brand of footy when the opposition allows them to”, Cameron said.

“When we’ve got the momentum we’ve got to be able to score and when they’ve got it we’ve got to be able to try and limit it”.

Macrae, 22, injured his hamstring in the Bulldogs’ Round 19 loss to Geelong and missed four games before returning for the elimination final win over West Coast in Perth. The Bulldogs’ reserves are in the grand final.

“He’s someone that’s targeted, but he just takes it on the chin and does the best he can for the side”.

There’s already bad blood between the two clubs despite the Giants only being in the competition for five years.
